Outreach to the Deputy Governor of Imo State

On 12th of March 2024, delegates of Widow Aid Foundation, led by Amb. Faithful Uzochi Iroh, had a courtesy call on the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Her Excellency, Lady Ihuoma Chinyere Ekomaru. The delegation extended warm congratulations to Her Excellency on her recent inauguration as the Deputy Governor of Imo State, and expressed their hope for her continued advocacy for widows and the marginalized in Imo State.

Ambassador Faithful Iroh introduced the delegation and emphasized the importance of extending the benefits of the state administration to indigent widows across Imo State. In response, Deputy Governor, Lady Ihuoma Chinyere Ekomaru appreciated Widow Aid Foundation’s efforts and encouraged them to persist in their noble work. She specifically highlighted the significance of sensitizing widows on subsistence farming and urged them to leverage the opportunities provided by the Skill Up Imo Project.

As a token of appreciation, the Widow Aid delegation presented a backdrop stand to Deputy Governor Lady Ihuoma Chinyere Ekomaru, congratulating her once again on her new role as the Deputy Governor of Imo State.
